We are currently producing a bronze version of “Lucky Hermit” in collaboration with the renowned Strassacker Art Foundry in Süßen, Germany, whose reputation extends far beyond the region.
The photographs document individual stages of the complex casting process: the careful finishing of the wax model and the raw bronze casting before further chasing and patination.
Founded in Süßen in 1919, the Strassacker Art Foundry has more than a century of experience in art casting. This collaboration brings our artistic work together with the craftsmanship and expertise of a long-established foundry.
We will continue to document the process and present the completed work in due course.
